Chicharito is on the brink of really kick starting his 2011/12 English Premier League campaign. He did it last season; can he follow up with new achievements this term?
Javier Hernandez is now injury free as he confirmed last week while on international duty with Mexico. With Danny Welbeck out due to injury, Chicharito is poised to start for Manchester United against Bolton Wanderers at the Reebok Stadium on Saturday. In 45 appearances for the Red Devils last season, the Mexican scored 20 goals and was influential in the buildup of many other goals.

This year, Javier Hernandez has not found the net yet, but colleague Wayne Rooney can see that coming. The English striker, who is apparently delighted to have Javier back, announced his expectations in an interview with MUTV.

“I'm looking forward to him doing the same, if not scoring more goals for us, this season. Of course people know about him now,” Rooney stated while speaking about Chicharito.

“But, if you look at all the top players around the world, people know how they play and it's still difficult to stop them. His movement is so good it's difficult to defend against.

“It won't be easy for players to defend against him whether they know about him or not. It's great to have a lad who has just come into the team, who speaks good English and is always smiling.”

It took absolutely no time at all for Javier Hernandez to transform into a fans favorite at Old Trafford. The 23-year-old is not thinking about breaking the hearts of Manchester United supporters. As an admirer of veteran Ryan Giggs, Javier Hernandez wants to represent the Red Devils’ colors for much longer.

“To improve, keep learning and to enjoy myself,” Chicharito told MUTV last week when asked about his ambition as a Manchester United player.

“Hopefully, in 10 years I'll still be here and saying the same thing, because this life—playing for United—is a dream for me, and I just want to keep enjoying it and working hard.”

Last season, Chicharito was among the 12 best goal scorers in the English Premier League having netted 13 strikes. This season, Edin Dzeko, team mate Wayne Rooney and Sergio Aguero are setting the bar higher.

Javier Hernandez is fresh from scoring for Mexico against Poland. Will he open his goal account on the fourth match-day of the 2011/12 English Premier League?
