Chelsea fans have one more reason to smile about after beating Everton on Wednesday night with Eden Hazard signing a five-and-a-half- year contract extension with his current team.
“I am very happy to sign a new contract with Chelsea,” Hazard said to the club's official website after making the commitment.

The Belgium international signed with the Blues back in 2012 and has made it clear that he is comfortable living in the outskirts of London. Feeling the support from the fans definitely played a role in his decision.
Hazard had a special message for Chelsea fans
"I always try to give pleasure to the supporters with my style of play and it is nice to know they appreciate my work,” Hazard commented.
Hazard has been a key player in Chelsea’s recent success. The 24-year-old has scored 13 goals in 36 appearances this season and a total of 32 since signing with the team.
"I am very happy that Eden has signed a new contract. It shows he believes in the club's coaching staff and players,” Jose Mourinho said after finding out about the midfielder’s decision.
Mourinho was definitely pleased Hazard has extended his stay at Stamford Bridge
