Military Heroes Honored by Philadelphia Union MLS Team
On may 19th, 2018, the Philadelphia Union will play Real Salt Lake at home in Talen Energy Stadium, located on the riverfront of Chester, Pennsylvania. Partnering with the Tragedy Assistance Program For Survivors (TAPS), this game will serve as the Union's military appreciation night. And to honor our United States Fallen Soldiers (from every military branch: Army, Navy, Marines, Air Force, etc. ) each player will bear a hero's name on the back of his practice jersey the practice before the game. In this video, The 2018 Philadelphia Union players and coach, Jim Curtin, pay homage to members of the military who have lost their lives. Each individual player is playing for a fallen soldier against Real Salt Lake. These hereos made the ultimate sacrifice. And for that, The Philadelphia Union thanks them and their families.
