The seventh week of action in the Clausura 2020 tournament is here, and it will bring fans a chance to watch some games that could be relevant to the end result of the league.
The fact that we will be able to watch a game between the two most recent finalists is especially appealing, even if both get to this game under different circumstances. Added to that clash, there will be a must-watch game at Azteca Stadium, while the league leaders try to maintain their status when they host Morelia on Sunday morning.
This will be a curious matchday in Liga MX, since there will be three games in each of this weekend's days. The first one of them will take place at Estadio Jalisco on Friday, while the last one will be held at Ciudad Juárez two days later.

Cruz Azul has performed quite well in front of goal, which has seen their fans getting carried away with their title hopes -as always. On the other side of the pitch, Tigres doesn't seem to be the same team that dominated the past decade, and their midweek loss at El Salvador is a good example of that. This rivalry will see one more chapter written on Saturday evening, and it will be interesting to see what consequences it brings for Tigres if they end up losing.

Monterrey vs América
A lot of ink has been used to talk about the final these teams played a couple of months ago, including how América let the title slip away from their hands and the fact that Monterrey had the ref helping them out by refusing to give Las Águilas a penalty kick despite using VAR technology. This weekend, América will have a chance to beat an ailing Monterrey side, which has only earned three points this season. If there was any logic in football, Monterrey should be considered as favorites due to their home-field advantage, but maybe the pressure of not having won a single game this season could see América claiming a much-needed win to boost their morale.
