The International Champions Cup is a friendly competition held in the United States, but the 2017 edition could prove to be an exciting event. The reason: mouth-watering clashes were announced for the summer tournament.
El Clasico has been confirmed, with Real Madrid and Barcelona set to duel outside of Spain. The two Spanish Primera Division rivals, after weeks of speculation, have now been penned down for a July 29 meeting at Hard Rock Stadium in Miami.
But that is not the only fixture fans will eagerly be waiting for. Nine days before El Clasico in the States, United and City will lock horns in the always thrilling Manchester Derby.
Throw in the Guardiola-Mourinho factor, and fans will likely fill the soon-to-be-announced venue. The two Premier League outfits will lock horns on July 20.
But the excitement doesn’t stop there. With the likes of PSG, Juventus, Tottenham, and Roma confirmed to participate, must-watch matches will be in surplus.
