The Liverpool star forward has set a record in the 2016/17 Premier League season in the match against Spurs. The Senegal international steered the reds back to winning ways following their disappointing outing since the beginning of the year. They beat the Lillywhites 2-0 thanks to Mane's brace.
When the former Southampton man went to AFCON to represent his country Senegal, things started falling apart at Liverpool. Klopp's men had only won one game in 2017; against Plymouth in the fifth round of the FA Cup. But he seems to have returned right on time to steer the Merseyside club back into the title race, although they still stand a low chance of catching up with Chelsea.
The Kopps came into this match holding the record of being the side that has conceded the fewest goals in the Premier League (16). And the fact that the 24-year-old pumped two past them just shows how good he is.

Mane is now the first player in the 2016/17 season to score 2+ goals vs Tottenham Hotspur. He has also been involved in 15 goals this season, more than any other Liverpool player.
