There has been a lot of uncertainty surrounding the availability of Liverpool forward Sadio Mane for the Chelsea clash. The Senegal international was quickly flown back to England when his country lost to rivals Cameroon at the African Cup of Nations. Mane missed the decisive penalty to deny his side a spot in the semi-finals of the prestigious competition.
And back in England, there have been concerns over his fitness levels considering all the fatigue associated with his regular game time at AFCON, and of course, jet lag on his way back to England. But it appears that he could make a surprise return in Klopp's first XI to rescue the struggling reds who have won only one game in 2017.
The 24-year-old was spotted arriving at Anfield, the venue of the game vs the Blues. Will the nine-goal star make a surprise return to the squad? The waiting game continues. But as of now, we know he has travelled with the rest of the squad for today's derby.
