Sunday, December 25 marks Christmas. With players getting time to enjoy this day with friends, family, or others; many took to social media to wish their millions of followers a Merry Christmas.
Unfortunately for players in the Premier League, this festive period coincides with several games. This means whilst everyone else enjoys a break, those in England are set for a grueling month.
Nonetheless, they joined stars from La Liga and the Bundesliga in sending the world their best wishes. Here are some of the best.
The video wishers
Many took to Instagram and Twitter to post pictures. Others decided that a video was the better choice, such as Zlatan Ibrahimovic, Patrice Evra, and Emre Can. Of those three, the Swedish ace was the standout man, making snow angels in his underwear.
Spending time with the family
Others decided that spending time with the family was best for them. Neymar posed with his brother in front of a lavishly decorated tree, whilst Cesc Fabregas and his kids got a visit from Mathieu Flamini dressed as Santa.

Then there were the fashionable ones
Thomas Muller sat next to a reindeer painted red, probably representing Bayern Munich’s color. Sergio Ramos also oozed style, as he posed with Real Madrid’s several Champions League titles.
Cristiano Ronaldo
Yes, he deserved a section of his own. The player who many feel loves himself a tad too much posed with a waxwork of himself. In his defense, he was in his hometown and thus passed by his museum.
