Who will book their spot in the MLS Cup finals?

Toronto FC

Toronto FC could face a tough test to secure their spot in the finals, but showed great mental fortitude in what was a highly entertaining first leg. The Reds had an awful opening to this match as they conceded three goals sans reply in the first hour of their clash with Montreal. However, they managed to claw their way back into the match by scoring two late goals and hence come into this game still fancying their chances at pipping their fellow Canadian rivals to a coveted spot in what would be their first ever MLS Cup final.

The hosts come into this game with a full-strength squad available, and coach Greg Vanney will hope that his stars - namely Sebastian Giovinco, Jozy Altidore, and Michael Bradley - will be able to come up big as they seek to book their spot in the upcoming finals.

Montreal Impact

For Didier Drogba, this could be his final game. The Ivorian ace, who is widely regarded as one of Chelsea's legendary players has won himself quite a bit of fans across the pond due to his solid displays for the MLS side and he surely will want to sign off on a high note. And what better way to do so than to make it - and win - the MLS Cup final? Should that happen, it will be Montreal's first ever win, and his colleagues surely will want that dream become a reality.

Mauro Biello will be seething after seeing his men throw away what seemed like a very certain 3-0 lead to barely hang on to win 3-2. Their defensive collapse in the last 30 minutes will be really weighing on their minds as they now cannot afford to have any slip-ups if they want to have the opportunity to represent Canada in the final against Seattle Sounders on December 10th.
