Portugal captain Cristiano Ronaldo missed a glorious chance to score a hat-trick against Latvia when his second penalty of the game hit the post and bounced back into play. But the Real Madrid forward compensated the miss with a brilliant volley goal with five minutes to go as Seleccao cruised to a 4-1 win over the underdogs.
Now here's the best part - the 31-year-old star has now scored 38 international goals. No other player currently playing international football has scored more than him.
