Manchester United boss Jose Mourinho has opened up about his life in the city of Manchester. The Portuguese tactician joined the Red Devils over the summer and has been blowing hot and cold in his career with the English giants.
The 53-year-old has been under pressure to start producing convincing and consistent results with the Old Trafford outfit. His appointment as the club’s manager was well-received by a majority of fans, but the recent performance, particularly in the Premier League, has left some of the fans wondering silently if Mou is really the right man for the job.

But now, the outspoken manager seems not to like his life in the famous city. The ex-Chelsea boss resides at the Lowry Hotel in the heart of the city, a lifestyle that has been characterized by daily attention from journalists camping outside his home hoping to get something newsworthy about him. And as reported by the Telegraph, Mourinho said:
“You know the history of the paparazzi, for the hotel and the brand that sponsors me, the clothes brand, [it] is amazing because they are there every day.
“Everybody knows the name of the hotel. Everybody knows the last arrivals of that brand. So for them, it is amazing. For me it’s a bit of a disaster because I want sometimes to walk a little bit and I can’t.’’
He added:
"I just want to cross the bridge and go for a restaurant. I can’t, so it is really bad. But I have my apps and I can ask for food to also be delivered."
The Red Devils face their cross-town rivals Man City on Wednesday in the English Football League Cup at Old Trafford. The hosts are under pressure to bounce back to winning ways, having already lost to Pep Guardiola’s men in the Premier League.
