The downside of enjoying stardom, being as famous as Cristiano Ronaldo means a shot at living a peaceful, private life away from the limelight every now and then goes out the window once stepping out in public.
This was on show, as the 31-year-old Portuguese superstar, who has recently been a victim of media scrutiny and jeering from Real Madrid supporters, went out for a cup of tea with a friend.
After making his order, with the awestruck public watching in amazement, the three-time Ballon d’Or winner was swarmed by several – and they were many – fans with requests for pictures.
And even though they lined up in numbers – again, they were many – Cristiano smiled and posed in every single picture, even cracking jokes to his fans and the staff who left their position to take a snap with the superstar.
