Football showed today that it can be an instrument to put reunite nations, as English and French players prepared to play a friendly match at Wembley Stadium.
The game, which was on the verge of being cancelled, saw both nation's fans singing as one the French anthem, "La Marseillaise", sending goosebumps to everyone watching around the world.
One of the players included in France's starting lineup was Lass Diarra, who learned about the death of his cousin hours after the terrorist acts in Paris concluded.
