Liverpool is unlikely to change the way they played after beating Stoke in the opening day. Bournemouth lost its first game of the season.

AFC Bournemouth wants to get their first win in the Premier League after being recently promoted to the top flight in England, but it seems unlikely that it can happen against a rejuvenated Liverpool Football Club. One side (Liverpool) won its first game of the season while the other one stands in second to last place having lost it.

One of the biggest doubts for Brendan Rodgers is trying to decide if Roberto Firmino is fit enough to start the game. The Brazilian midfielder has yet to start a game for The Reds and may have his chance against what seems like a weak team on the other side.

Rodgers side has a chance of starting the season with two straight wins. While claiming the top-spot seems complicated, anything within the top three is reasonable. Manchester City leads the way with six points a and a differential of +6, Manchester United has the same amount of point with a differential of +2 and six points as well. The Red Devils stand in third place so far.

Having this game played at Anfield can mean one thing. The pressure is mostly on the home side. From the visiting side, it is hard to tell what can be expected. They can either play a conservative game and block any access from the back, or they can also try to be brave and attempt to control the game further away from their net.

These teams have never met under the lights of the Barclays Premier League stage. At the same time, in the last 11 seasons, Liverpool is undefeated when they have their first game of the season a home. Also, out of the last ten games that The Reds have played on Monday at home, they have only lost once.

One of the things that the players of Bournemouth can do best is to control the ball. The team of Eddie Howe had the third highest amount of completed passes in the first 90 minutes of the league, just behind the Citizens and Arsenal. Their possession was higher to Aston Villa's in their first game last week.

Also, Bournemouth is not either scared of playing on Mondays nor on the road. While they were in the Championship league, the Cherries held a record of 12 undefeated games. Also, when playing away from home, the team finished with a record of eight wins a and five losses with a differential of +30.

While Liverpool is the favorite  to win this game due to the squad they have and how they played in the first game, Bournemouth could be aiming to shock the team from Anfield. They both seem to have enough credits on the stat sheet to pull off a win.
