Neymar, Kylian Mbappé, and even Keylor Navas were signed to take PSG to their first UEFA Champions League final, but the player that ended up leading Les Parisiens to fight for the title match in the continental competition was none other than Angel Di Maria.
The Argentine footballer had a stellar performance for the French side against RB Leipzig, being quite influential in front of goal and close to the box. Di Maria handed out two assists (one to Marquinhos and one to Juan Bernat) and scored the team's second goal to give the French side a well-deserved spot in the tournament's final.
If that was not enough reason to be satisfied, Di Maria entered an elite list of players in the UEFA Champions League with his impressive assists tally.

In fact, Di Maria also equaled a milestone that only one special footballer had been able to do for Les Parisiens.

Will Di Maria become PSG's lucky charm to win their first-ever UEFA Champions League title? These numbers could be a sign of things to come.
8 - Ángel Di María has been involved in eight #ChampionsLeague goals this season (3 goals, 5 assists); his joint-best return in a single season, level with 2013-14 when he won the competition with Real Madrid. Omen? #RBLPSG pic.twitter.com/3N6iXlyjJk
