Gianluigi Buffon spoke to the team's Facebook page about the upcoming UEFA Champions League clash against Real Madrid, and even if he still believes in Juve's chances of success, he believes that Cristiano Ronaldo will be decisive in the Quarter final matchup.
Buffon analyzed in detail what makes CR7 such a threat for opposing defenders.
"In time, he's learned how to improve himself as an athlete, as and a player and as a professional. I look up to him because he's really pragmatic, he's coherent with what he says and what he does. I believe that in the last few years he's taken advantage of his intelligence, especially since he changed his playing style," Buffon stated.
"He spends less energy now, compared to how he used to play. He's lethal, he devotes himself 100% to his goals, and in front of goal, he's a killer. For almost 20 years, he's done nothing but gather record after record," the shot-stopper added.
