That goal was number 53 for the world’s most expensive player with the national side. That is an impressive number, given that he is only 25 and has years ahead of him.
Neymar is moving ever closer to overtaking Romario as Brazil’sthird-highest scorer in history. At 55 goals, the PSG ace needs three more goals to overtake the Barcelona and PSV Eindhoven icon.
Pele’s all-time record remains in the distant. Neymar needs 25 more goals for the national side in order to pass the 77-year-old’s record of 77 strikes. Then again, the Ligue 1 star has all the time in the world.
