Manchester United have long been linked with a move for Antoine Griezmann. The Atletico Madrid ace has been linked with a long list of clubs, but the Red Devils are tipped as favorites to land the Frenchman.
The Spanish Primera Division ace has a hefty release clause worth £84m, a fee which would cause a huge dent in Man United. However, given the huge cheque they cut for Paul Pogba, Griezmann shouldn’t come too expensive.
It appears that Jose Mourinho has won the race for the 26-year-old. This is according to Vincent Rodriguez, a former Fifa accredited agent, who claims a “financial agreement” has been reached with Los Rojiblancos.

However, Eric Olhats – an adviser to Griezmann – dismissed the idea of a move to the Ligue 1 giants. Furthermore, Los Blancos have a pact with their neighbors which prohibits them from signing each other’s players.
One thing Man United are hopeful will lure Antoine to Old Trafford is his relationship with Pobga. The French duo could form a formidable partnership at the Theatre of Dreams.
