Liverpool are gearing up for an important league game. After an awful start in 2017, the Reds have only one win under their belt – against Plymouth in the FA Cup – since the New Year.
Having dropped out of the top four, currently in fifth, Jurgen Klopp’s boys face another tough test: hosting high-flying Tottenham. Ahead of the game, the German boss showed that bitter memories about a wrong referee call earlier this season still lingers in his mind.
The top of Klopp’s record against England’s top six came up, something that the former BVB boss is known for. Since taking over at Anfield, the 49-year-old has lost only once to the league’ top six teams.
He is tied with Conte for this season. However, Klopp feels that his record would have been better had it not been for the equalizer Zlatan Ibrahimovic scored against Liverpool.
That strike by the Swede should not have stood, as the build-up play to his goal was offside. Klopp hasn’t forgotten this, saying ahead of their Spurs game: "Our record (against top six) should be even better. That offside goal against Man United....."

The Liverpool boss should let bygones be bygones, and focus on their must-win clash with the north London giants.
