It was an excellent weekend for the Man United legend and the Gunners, but a bad one for Jurgen Klopp's boys.

Another exciting weekend of English Premier League action has gone. Chelsea strengthened their grip on the lead, whilst three rivals – Tottenham, Liverpool, and Man City – met with curve balls.

The Citizens and Spurs clashed but shared the points, drawing 2-2. The Reds met the then lowest club in the league – Swansea – but were surprisingly defeated 3-2 at Anfield. There was also a dramatic win for Arsenal which saw them climb to second. Here’s how the top 10 looks.

Liverpool has the league’s best attack

The Reds collapsed in epic manner to Swansea, but Liverpool’s attack can hold their heads high despite the result. They scored twice, showing that finding the back of the net with summer signing Sadio Mane isn’t an issue.

And they set a goalscoring feat: they became the first club to score 50 goals in the league this season. Swansea also became the first club to concede 50 times. This just makes us wonder more how Jurgen Klopp’s boys lost.

How, Lallana, how?

Arsenal leave it late vs. Burnley… AGAIN!

Another red card for Xhaka Granit, a stoppage time equalizer for Burnley, a disappointing draw on the horizon: this looked to be another awful week for the Gunners. Then Arsenal won a stoppage time penalty.

Alexis Sanchez stepped up, converted the spot kick, and handed the home side all three points. That was the Chilean ace’s 15th strike of 2016/17, level with Diego Costa.

Burnley must hate stoppage time when facing the Gunners. Their first meeting earlier this season saw Wenger’s boys also score the winning goal real late, thus leading to this goalscoring feat for Arsenal:

Wayne Rooney – Man United’s greatest goalscorer

Although it has been bound to happen for long, it’s only now official: Wayne Rooney is Manchester United’s all-time leading goalscorer. He surpassed Sir Bobby Charlton’s record on Saturday with a free-kick. This is how their stats compare:

Wayne Rooney: 250 goals in 545 games.

Sir Bobby Charlton: 249 goals In 758 games.
