The Swedish striker scored a brace for the Red Devils and added his name to the EPL's record book, but he couldn't avoid a fifth yellow card.

Well, we bet no one saw this one coming.

Deemed to be quite arrogant at times, Zlatan Ibrahimovic felt an apology was necessary after being booked during his fine display against Swansea. The reason? That booking will force him to watch Manchester United's clash against Arsenal from the stands.

Speaking to Manchester United TV, the Swede admitted he didn't expect to be carded, but he'll have to adjust his playing style to avoid any further problems on the pitch.

"In England, the football is hard, it's physical. I just have to accept it. I've got to be professional. I'm sorry I am suspended for the next game. I wish I wasn't as it's a game I really wanted to play in. But I have trust in my team-mates and the team and I know they can do fine also without me," Ibrahimovic stated.

Sweden's all-time top striker went on and revealed he was too tired to hear the ref's explanation on why he chose to book him.

"Every time I try to play my game by being strong, and going into the tackles, or whatever it is, I get a yellow card. I don't know what the explanation was because I think I was too tired and I didn't hear him," he added.

But it wasn't all bad for Zlatan, as the former PSG striker hit the 400-goal mark with his brace against Swansea. Speaking of which, Ibrahimovic admitted he wasn't expecting to have that kind of success in front of goal.

Manchester United's game against Arsenal will take place on November 19, once the International break is over.
