Sevilla's new coach is already interesting for his opponents to watch, and Barcelona's coach knows just how hard to beat the Andalucians will be in the Spanish Super Cup.
Speaking in his usual pre-match press conference, the Spanish boss referred to a variety of topics, including just how much he appreciates a straight forward approach on football, just like the one Jorge Sampaoli fancies.
"You have to consider Sevilla has changed a lot. Sampaoli's philosophy is entertaining to watch. They're a very well organized team, and I like very much how they associate with each other. No wonder why they're one of the best references for Spanish football in Europe," the coach stated.
Luis Enrique also referred to the fact that these games are often played without some of his team's top players. While he asked for thos responsible to reconsider their position, he knows there are some situations away from the pitch that don't allow players some much needed time off.
"It would be a great thing, if we could make way for the players to have enough time to rest. Unfortunately, Mister Business gets in the way, and some players don't have the chance to rest properly, which causes more injuries on the long run. Hopefully, European football will change this in the near future," he added.
