Austria cruised to France for the European Championship this summer, topping Group G with 28 points. Marcel Koller's lads will go head-to-head with the Oranje this Saturday, as they prepare for this top-flight tournament.

Marcel Koller’s side enjoyed an unbeaten streak, bagging wins against Sweden, Montenegro, Albania, Switzerland, and Liechtenstein. Furthermore, Austria's most recent match ended in a 2-1 victory against the central Mediterranean nation Malta, as the hosts will be hoping to continue their positive run.

Meanwhile, the Netherlands failed to book a ticket to the Euro 2016 with poor qualifying performances against Group A opponents. Danny Blind's lads finished in fourth place with only 13 points on the table, shocking fans around the world with their lack of success to reach the European Championship this summer.

Nonetheless, the Dutchmen will travel to Austria hoping to continue with their winning ways after their narrow 2-1 victory against Poland this Wednesday.

Team news- who's fit and who's not?

Koller will be pleased to have all his players at their fullest strength when they welcome the Netherlands on Saturday.

Meanwhile, Manchester United defender Daley Blind is expected to miss this friendly against Austria after sustaining a calf injury during Manchester United's FA Cup win over Crystal Palace. The 26-year-old also sat out the Netherlands' 1-1 draw with Ireland in Dublin last Friday and did not travel to Poland on Wednesday as well.

Head to head:

  • In Austria's last six games, they have clinched four wins, while losing the other two

  • The visitors have scored seven goals in their last three away matches

  • The Netherlands have bagged two wins and one draw in their last three official appearances

  • The Dutchmen claimed a 3-1 victory in their last meet-up against Austria, which took place on February 9, 2011
