Academica vs Benfica

Filipe Gouveia's Academica have had a torrid time this term and presently sit in a disappointing 17th spot, with 23 points from their first 28 matches and just five wins all season.
Although they are two points behind the 16th-placed Boavista, Academica have only won one of their past five matches and were humiliated 3-0 in their reverse fixture with Benfica earlier this season. For all intents and purposes, Vitoria's side are by far the heavy favorites to pick up all three points from Saturday's game.

Sporting CP vs Maritimo
Under the guidance of former Benfica manager Jorge Jesus, Sporting CP are hoping to clinch their first Primeira Liga title in over a decade. Currently, the Lions are just two points behind the Eagles in the league standings. With nine points between them and the drop, the visitors are likely to remain in Portuguese football's top flight for yet another season. Nonetheless, they will surely want to cause as much problems for the Lions as they themselves hope to break into the top half of the table.
