BVB have begun the new campaign in impeccable fashion and apart from winning all their opening four league matches, Thomas Tuchel's men have fared well in Europe as well. The German side have scored 17 goals so far in just four Europa League matches defeating Wolfsberger 6-0 and scoring 11 against Odd over two legs.
Dortmund have been paired in a relatively easy group alongside PAOK as well as Gabala and will be hoping to make a swift progression to the knockout stage. The league leaders will however be without star man Marco Reus for their upcoming match, who missed the 4-2 win over Hannover and will not be available for selection as confirmed by Tuchel.
"Marco Reus is unfortunately not available for tomorrow," Dortmund coach Thomas Tuchel said. "He should be back into full team training on Friday."
However Belgian star Adnan Januzaj who joined Dortmund on loan from Manchester United could feature against Krasnodar after impressing in his debut appearance against Hannover.
"We are very pleased with Januzaj since he arrived here," he added. "He was immediately part of the group, and his talent is obvious.
"He is an option for tomorrow; he still needs to get used to the intensity, but we trust him to do that very quickly."
Whereas Reus is likely to stay on the sidelines, Dortmund are expected to welcome Lukasz Piszczek and Adrian back to the squad. Their opponents Krasnodar have been on a good run and are undefeated in their three away European games. They are participating in the group stage of the competition for the second consecutive season and will be hoping to make the most out of it.
