Big money and an even bigger amount of pride
The Gunners are aiming to lift the FA Cup title for a twelveth time since 1930 and a third one in the last ten years. Danny Welbeck, who scored a very important goal in the quarter-finals, has been ruled out for the big day due to an injury. He will most likely be replaced with either Theo Walcott or Olivier Giroud.
Alexis Sanchez is expected to take the spotlight in this game. The former Barcelona striker is finishing a strong season with his new team and was selected Fan's Player of the Season. The Chilean striker has scored three goals in this competition and finished the Premier League season with 16 in 35 games played.

On the other side, Aston Villa was able to shock the world and knock Liverpool out of the semi-final by two goals to one. That allowed the club based in Witton, Birmingham to reach to aim for their eighth title of the tournament. Last time that Villa won it was in 1957 and the first one tracks back to 1987.

The major doubt for Villa is who will be under the sticks for this big game. Their starting goalkeeper, Shay Given is dealing with a groin injury and could miss the game at Wembley. Tim Sherwood has already advised Brad Guzan to be ready in case he is the one needed to defend Villa's net. The American goalkeeper played in 34 Premier League games this season and had nine clean sheets. He did not play in a single F.A. Cup game.
Liverpool now wants a player from the team that eliminated them from the tournament

If the motivation to become Champions and earn some bragging rights was not enough, there is a big sum of money waiting for both teams. The winners receive £1.8 million and the runners-up £900,000. Teams like Villa could certainly use the money given to the winners.
