The roster only includes two players from European clubs. The game will be played in San Antonio's Alamodome.

Jurgen Klinsmann announced the players that will represent the United States in the game against Mexico this Wednesday. 22 players should be making their arrival to San Antonio as late as Monday morning to begin preparations for CONCACAF's biggest rivalry-

The announcement was made at halftime during the game between L.A. Galaxy and Seattle Sounders at the Stub Hub Stadium in Los Angeles, California. De Andre Yedlin and Julian Green are the only players in the list that do not play in either an MLS or Liga MX club.

Yedlin is with the Hotspurs in England and Green is currently with Hamburg in Germany. Both of them, barely get to play with their teams. Mexico's roster does not include any players outside from their domestic league.

Atfer a successful debut with the USMNT, William Yarbrough and Ventura Alvarado will be returning for this game. Michael Bradley is also in the list and will most likely be the captain of this team that doesn't have newcomers.

Clint Dempsey from the Seattle Sounders was left out. The defender is out with an injury on his left hamstring. Dempsey was not able to join his national team in the games they had against Denmark and Switzerland. Jozzy Altidore from Toronto FC was also not included by Klinsmann.

Julian Green is also the youngest player on this team called by the German manager. He will turn 20 on June and had his debut with the national team against Mexico just one year ago. Along with Yedlin, they will first need permisisons from their clubs before making the trip to San Antonio.

The team will only have two practice sessions prior to this game, where nothing but pride is at stake. One of them at Trinity University and the other one is expected to be at the site where the "friendly" will take place.
