Cristiano Ronaldo celebrated his 300th goal with Los Blancos today, but his night did not end as happily for him as he would have wanted. Prior to his 37th goal of the season, the Portuguese striker was booked for "diving" according to the game's referee. While the tackle against CR7 was doubtful, the ref decided to book Cristiano, who will miss Real Madrid's upcoming match against Eibar. The action took place when the game was still tied 0-0, with Rayo Vallecano applying huge pressure against Carlo Ancelotti's team, who came close to falling back due to Paco Jemez's team performance.
WATCH: Ronaldo "dives"? Or was the tackle harsh on him?
But after his supposed "dive", CR7 calmed Real Madrid fans with his 300th goal playing for Los Blancos.
Here's what fans think about CR7's performance today!
How was that a dive? The defender completely swiped him out! Impossible for Ronaldo to stay on his feet! Unbelievable. #RVMvsRealMadrid

The ref has got to be blind to think that was a dive from #Ronaldo.. Definite contact but even if not a penalty, certainly not a dive! #RMFC
