The Swedish striker approved the work of art. It took around a year to create.

Zlatan Ibrahimovic has found in himself a new best friend, and by that, we mean a Zlatan wax figure. The Swedish forward saw how the Musee Grevin unveiled a replica o him made out of wax.

"I can only be grateful for the fantastic job done. I am very proud to get this sort of recognition, especially as a Swede,” said Ibra, who has lived in Paris since July 2012.

Zlatan, commonly known for being a serious man, had that same characteristic engraved in the wax figure. It is almost scary how the real one and the fake one look so much alike.

"The statue looks very focused, just like myself out there on the pitch,” the Paris Saint-Germain striker told the media at the event.

Zlatan actually smiled during the event at the Grevin Museum in Paris

The 33-year-old footballer did appreciate the effort done by the artist to create such a similar resemblance to the actual Malmo, Sweden native. He added that there is one landmark he would like to take over in the future.

“The next step? I don't know. Maybe replacing the Eiffel Tower with an Ibrahimovic statue,” he declared.
