Brazil celebrated another victory in a friendly match against Argentina in their 100th match ever. With two goals by Diego Tardelli, the team led by Brazilian legend Dunga earned their 40th victory against their historic rivals.
Argentina dominated the first half hour of the match, but it was Tardelli who scored after 28 minutes, when a miscoordination between Zabaleta and Fernandez ended up in a volley by Brazil's number 9, who scored his first goals with the Canarinha.
Before the first half ended, Lionel Messi had the chance to even the score, but missed from the penalty spot once more with a good save by Jefferson.
After the halftime break, Brazil had the best chances to increase their tally, finally paying off after 64 minutes, with Tardelli's second goal of the evening. After the second goal, both teams relaxed a bit on the pitch, giving little emotions to those watching the game. The biggest moment came in the final ten minutes, when Kaká returned with Brazil's National team after almost two years without being called up.

Wonder why Scolari went for Fred instead of Tardelli.

Basically 2-0. Not a great game, but credit to Tardelli for the goals.
