The Concacaf W Champions Cup is part of TelevisaUnivision’s exclusive Spanish-language rights package in the United States running through 2030.Concacaf W Champions Cup matches are broadcast live across TelevisaUnivision’s TV networks and streamed on ViX, with both live and on-demand access. The tournament features top clubs from Mexico (Liga MX Femenil), the United States (NWSL), Central America, and the Caribbean, and acts as a qualifier for the FIFA Women’s Champions Cup and the FIFA Women’s Club World Cup. TelevisaUnivision has acquired U.S. Spanish-language rights for the Concacaf W Nations League until 2030. TUDNxtra is a Spanish-language sports streaming service, which offers additional live soccer matches to TUDN subscribers in USA. The digital service was launched in 2019 after the merger between the sports divisions of American media company Univision and Grupo Televisa from Mexico.
TUDNxtra serves as an extension of the existing TUDN television channel in that it allows soccer fans to tap into Univision’s vast portfolio of broadcast rights to access live exclusive matches. It was created with the purpose of providing hundreds of live UEFA Champions League, UEFA Europa League, Euro Championship Qualifiers and Mexican Liga MX matches every year to subscribers of participating TV providers in USA, at no extra cost.
Content from TUDNxtra may be distributed among the service’s multiple channels and is available to stream via the TUDN app for Android and Apple tablets and smartphones. For users on PC and Mac, TUDNxtra streams can be accessed directly on TUDN’s official website. User authentication is again required, and supported carriers include: AT&T U-verse, Cox, DirecTV, DISH Network, Optimum, Spectrum, Verizon Fios, Frontier Communications, Google Fiber, RCN, Atlantic Broadband, Grande Communications, fuboTV and Suddenlink.
