YLE Areena is a video and radio streaming service owned and operated by the Finnish public broadcaster YLE. The service was launched on June 15, 2007 to give users a chance to stream live and on-demand content aired by its parent company, and it has been available on all Nordic countries under different names for each region.
Over the years, YLE Areena has offered a wide variety of entertainment options, with series, movies, documentaries, lifestyle shows, music programs, current affairs’ programs, news broadcasts, children’s programming, and sports being some of the topics covered by the network and the platform.
