2024-2027
Canal Plus has acquired French pay-TV broadcast rights for the UEFA Champions League in a three-year deal from 2024-25 until the end of the 2026-27 season. Canal Plus’ contract with UEFA for multi-competition TV rights is worth slightly over $500 million annually, including the UEFA Europa League and the UEFA Europa Conference League.

2024-2027
Canal Plus is France's exclusive UEFA Europa League broadcaster for the 2024-25 to 2026-27 seasons. The pay-TV operator acquired these rights for reportedly $502 million per year in a three-year deal also including the UEFA Champions League and Conference League, making Canal Plus the home of European football during this cycle.

2024-2027
Canal Plus is the official UEFA Conference League broadcaster for the 2024-25, 2025-26, and 2026-27 seasons in France. The popular pay-TV operator secured broadcasting rights for this competition in a $502 million per year deal, which also includes the rights to UEFA's two other club competitions: the Champions League and the Europa League.

2025-2028
Canal Plus remains France's exclusive English Premier League broadcast rights holder from 2025 to 2028. The commercial broadcaster first secured Premier League rights in 2019 after taking over from streaming service RMC Sport. All 380 EPL matches from 2025-26 through the 2027-28 seasons are shown live and on-demand on Canal Plus’s linear and digital platforms.

Canal+ Sport history, coverage, features
Canal+ Sports is Canal+ Group's flagship sports pay-TV channel in France. The channel was launched in 1998 as Canal+ Vert, but was rebranded in 2003 to Canal+ Sports. Its name has remained as this ever since.Canal+ Group uses the channel to house all of its biggest sporting events. Over the years, this has included live golf, rugby, basketball and football.
In terms of football, the channel has been used to show live coverage of the UEFA Champions League, the UEFA Europa League and the English Premier League, among others.
Canal+ Sport is available on terrestrial and cable TV in France, while it can also be streamed through the Canal+ app. This can be downloaded for free onto smart devices in France, including smartphones and tablets. All programming on Canal+ Sports is in French.
