Elsewhere, Liverpool recorded another victory while Arsenal returned to winning ways on Saturday against Burnley. Let's not forget Ole Gunnar Solskjær's dream debut at Man United, as the Norwegian guided the Red Devils to a 5-1 win at Cardiff. Here are the standout stats from the latest Matchweek.
Roy Hodgson ends eight-year drought
For eight long years, no English manager came away from the Etihad with a win. The last man to do so was Harry Redknapp back in May 2008, but that awful run was brought to an end by Roy Hodgson after Crystal Palace's shocking 3-2 win at Man City.

Guardiola's men lose a few records
The 3-2 loss at home to the Eagles not only saw Man City lose ground in the title race, but a few of their records this season were wiped away, namely their perfect home record.

Ole Gunnar Solskjær dream debut has fans dreaming again
After Mourinho was sacked and Ole Gunnar Solskjær appointed, many wondered whether the Norwegian has it in him to turn Man United's season around. His debut went extremely well, as the Red Devils beat Cardiff 5-1. It was also the first time the Old Trafford side has scored five times in a single league game since Sir Alex Ferguson's farewell match.

Harry Kane reaches goalscoring feat
Harry Kane grabbed a brace en route to a 6-2 win over Everton on Sunday. This means he is the first player to score 2+ goals in four consecutive matches against the same opponent since Michael Owen vs Newcastle.

Arsenal ends their awful Premier League run
While Unai Emery's side had gone 22 games unbeaten, Arsenal never led at half-time in the Premier League in their opening 17 games. Fortunately, that awful run came to an end in their 18th game, against Burnley, as Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang's opening goal gave them a 1-0 advantage heading into the break. The Gabonese forward would go on to score another and return to the top of the goalscorers chart.
