These two games standout out for more reasons than the fact that top European sides will lock horns. It will raise questions about both Liverpool and Barcelona.
The Reds recently kissed goodbye their perfect start to the season twice against Chelsea. First, they suffered their first defeat all season when they lost 2-1 to the Blues in the League Cup. A few days later, they locked horns in the Premier League, with Chelsea halting their winning run in the English top-flight. All eyes will be on Klopp's men to see if they can bounce back, especially after their impressive 3-2 win over PSG.
As for Barcelona, they have been struggling in their recent games. The Blaugrana is without a win in their last three ties, with a shock defeat to Leganes separating home draws with Girona and Athletic Bilbao. The trip to Tottenham will be tricky. Failure to win will sound alarm bells.

The reigning Premier League champion headed into this season as one of the favorites for obvious reasons. However, their opening game did not go as planned, as they lost 2-1 at home to Lyon. Next up for Guardiola's men is a trip to Hoffenheim. Man City knows they must correct their wrongs and return with all three points. Failure to do that would only shatter their confidence further.
