The Liverpool forward could have added more to his tally against Niger.

Mohamed Salah was both the adversary and protagonist for Egypt in their 6-0 win over Niger on Saturday. The 26-year-old striker was involved in four goals for the Pharaohs in Javier Aguirre's first game in charge of the North African team.

However, prior to the heroics, Salah made a waste of two goal scoring opportunities from the penalty spot. The first came under barely a minute from kick-off when the Liverpool man was awarded a penalty after being tumbled to the ground.

Salah, despite proving to be clinical time and time again, made a massive error from the spot and missed. Inside the 29th minute, the Egyptian's night nearly turned sour after he saw another penalty denied.

He, however, pounced on the rebound and slotted home his first of the night before adding another eight minutes to end proceedings. Arsenal's Mohamed Elneny, Ayam Ashraf, Salah Mohsen and Marwan Mohsen were the other goal scorers with Mohamed Salah providing the assists for the latter two.
