Notably, they are only one point behind Tottenham, who also play later today.
Chelsea come into their match against Huddersfield having won their last four matches and are unbeaten in their last five overall in the Premier League. Upcoming opponents Huddersfield sit in 17th, and are barely hanging on outside the drop zone but will be feeling quite good after parking the bus to maximum effect and securing a vital point against Mancheseter City last weekend. In doing so, they became the first team to visit the Etihad and not allow Pep Guardiola's free-scoring side to grab a single goal - an impressive feat in itself.
Certainly, Huddersfield, who need at least two points to guarantee they stay in the top flight this term, will be looking to do the same to Chelsea today - something the Blues certainly can't afford as they need every single point between now and this weekend in order to make it into the Champions League. Will they be able to find a breakthrough against David Wagner's side to get the result they need?
