Mexico's coach Juan Carlos Osorio made some unscathing remarks prior to this game, especially when he found out that Croatia's coach dismissed several of his top-caliber players before this match took place.
El Tri will surely use this game to show off their finest squad, which should include Guillermo Ochoa, captain Andrés Guardado and striker Javier "Chicharito" Hernández. Other than the absence of Porto's midfielder Hector Herrera, coach Osorio will have a full squad to choose from on Tuesday.
On the other side of the pitch, coach Zlatko Dalic chose to send away some of his finest players for the second game of this international break.
