Everyone will have their eyes on Cristiano Ronaldo and Lionel Messi, as the two are the biggest goalscoring threat in this game. The Portuguese and Argentine stars will have more reason to score at the Bernabeu, as it could see them set new records.
The Real Madrid forward has his eye on a separate feat. Having made a habit of scoring past the Blaugrana, the recently-crowned Ballon d’Or winner could become Los Blancos’ all-time leading scorer in El Clasico history.
As of now, the late Alfredo Di Stefano holds that record with 18 goals, but the 32-year-old is only behind by one. A brace would see Ronaldo overtake the Argentine legend, and we know Cristiano can score two past Barcelona.

Messi, on the other hand, is one goal shy of breaking Gerd Muller’s record of most goals scored by a single player for a single club in Europe. The number to beat is 525, which Messi equaled in the win over Villarreal but failed to surpass in the Barcelona’s last game.
Since Leo has an excellent goalscoring record at the Bernabeu, he could write his name in history once more in El Clasico.
