The Antoine Griezmann to Man United rumours are gaining ground every day. According to reports in Spain, the Atleti forward is keen on sealing a move to Man United, a club he has publicly confessed his love for, particularly club legend David Beckham.
British publication The Sun now claims that the Red Devils’ hierarchy are willing to spend huge once again when the transfer window reopens in order to get the much-needed reinforcements to challenge for the league title. The 20-time Premier League champions had spent approximately 200 million British pounds last summer, which included the record-breaking acquisition of Paul Pogba, but their performance in the league so far has been disappointing.
Griezmann, despite his goal drought this season, is widely seen as the man to sharpen the club’s attack which is hugely dependent on Zlatan Ibrahimovic. Considering the Swede’s age (35), the Old Trafford outfit are already looking into the long-term future by building their attack around the Frenchman.

And it is for this reason that the club is reportedly willing to spend up to 60 million British pounds to bring the striker from Madrid to Manchester. The Sun understands that Griezmann could push for a move out of the club especially know that Diego Simeone’s future is in doubt. Simeone is reportedly seeking his way out of the club and Inter Milan are still the favorites to land his signature.
