Despite their 4-0 win against Manchester City on Wednesday evening, it's not all sushine and rainbows at Barcelona's training grounds. Gerard Pique and Jordi Alba have been ruled out for the next weeks due to different injuries picked up during the game against the Sky Blues.
Both players left the pitch during the first half of the game, but the extent of their injuries was revealed today by the team's medical staff.
Alba, who left the game after ten minutes of playing time, will be out for the next two weeks due to a muscular injury to his left leg. Alba had sustained the same injury while playing for the Spanish National Team, but Barcelona's doctors gave him the green ligh to perform after the international break.
The left back is set to miss at least three games with Los Blaugranas.

Pique joined his team-mate on the bench 25 minutes later, as a late challenge by David Silva caused Pique to limp off the pitch with an ankle injury. The International center back is set to miss the next three weeks with the team, including the rematch against the Citizens at Etihad Stadium.
Barcelona's defense will have to work overtime to solve both of these players' absences, as their performances this season haven't been exactly shining. Los Blaugranas have allowed 10 goals in eight games, including a 4-3 beating against Celta a couple of weeks ago.
