Spanish giants Real Madrid have wrapped up business with one of their players, tying down influential midfielder Toni Kroos to a new long-term contract.
Los Blancos announced on their official website that the German had put pen to paper on an extension, killing any rumors linking the former Bayern Munich ace with a move away from the Spanish capital.
The 26-year-old’s new deal will see him remain at Santiago Bernabeu – unless Real Madrid sell him – until June 2022, with the player reportedly set to earn £346,000 per week.

The World Cup winner joined the 11-time – then 10-time –Champions League winners in 2014 and has since been a ever-present figure in their starting eleven whenever he is fit and injury-free.
This new announcement will calm down any fears of a Real Madrid exit, as rumors linked the World Cup winner with a move to English Premier League giants Manchester United (as per the Daily Star).
A recent string of injuries to the other influential memeber of Real Madrid's midfield, Luka Modric, has underlined the importance of Toni Kroos' presence at Les Merengues.
Furthermore, his age means that the German has many more years of top-level football to offer to the Spanish Primera Division giants.
