It’s official: after weeks of speculation, Joe Hart has finally sealed his move away from Manchester City after dropping to third-choice keeper at the Etihad.
The arrival of Claudio Bravo sparked the end of the Englishman’s undisputed reign in between the sticks. As a result, the 28-year-old has now joined Torino in the Serie A.
However, he merely put pen to paper on a season-long loan deal with his new Italian employers, meaning a return to the Citizens remains a possibility.

Although there is no joy in leaving a place you called home for 348 appearances, the Three Lions custodian can take pride in the fact that he has entered the Serie A record books.
Without even featuring for Torino for a single minute, he has made history by becoming the first English goalkeeper to play in the Italian top-flight.
Of course, Hart will be hoping to break another record by becoming the first English custodian to win silverware in Italy. However, that requires Torino usurping Juventus as the league’s best team.
