Barcelona asked for a special request to have them play in their preseason friendlies. They can't be resgistered until January 1, 2016.

Arda Turán and Aleix Vidal were presented earlier this summer as some very important signings for Barcelona in their attempt to continue with their 2015 success. The club filed a special request to FIFA, hoping they were allowed to play in pre-season games, but FIFA has now denied such petition.

The team is scheduled to play three games as part of their U.S. tour, one in Italy against Fiorentina and one more in the Gamper Trophy against Roma. Turan and Vidal will have to watch all of those games either from home or a suite, but can't be registered in a match where a referee is involved according to FIFA's response.

This is the game they are both waiting for

This is the result of an ongoing ban that was imposed on Barcelona due to an investigation of a problem with "international transfer of minors." The ban does not allow Barcelona to debut more players until next year. It was a ban put in place in August of 2014, after the club signed Luis Suarez, Ivan Rakitic, Marc-Andre ter Stegen, Thomas Vermaelen, Claudio Bravo, Jeremy Mathieu and Alen Halilovic.

Turan's childhood dream of playing with Barcelona will have to wait a bit more than expected. At the same time all of the candidates running for the presidency of the club don't plan on sending him back to Atletico Madrid. There was a clause in his contract stating that if the new president didn't want him, he would go.

Training is something Turan and Vidal can be a part of with their new team
