Coach Paulo Wanchope's idea hasn't had the desired effect among his players, and their draw against El Salvador complicates their chances.
Historically, Los Ticos have dominated Canada. Out of the 22 matches celebrated between the two teams, Costa Rica has emerged victorious in eight of them, drawing nine and losing five. With both teams needing the win, we have to expect quite an open game, as none of the teams can afford losing more points.
