An up and down campaign has been frustrating for Arsenal fans, but they can at least appreciate that the club is into the next round of the Champions League. With a handful of youngsters, the Gunners will try to bounce back from their weekend defeat.

Things have not gone according to plan for Arsenal this season, and it all took a turn for the worst on Saturday. A 3-2 defeat away to Stoke City did not sit well with fans, leading a group of them to insult Arsene Wenger as he got on the train after the match.

The Frenchman will now take a new look Arsenal squad to Turkey to take on Galatasaray.

Arsenal has already booked their place in the next round of the competition, but with them mathematically still having a chance to take the top spot, Arsene Wenger looks more interested in giving some of his players rest.

In his press conference on Monday, Wenger took a different approach than normal, and announced his starting lineup. The squad will include Wojciech Szczesny who will be returning after picking up an injury in the sides home defeat to Manchester United.

Another returning player will be Mathieu Debuchy as he's fully recovered from a broken ankle earlier in the season.

The likes of Stefan O'Connor, Ainsley Maitland-Niles, Gedion Zelalen, Glen Kamara, Chuba Akpom and Alex Iwobi all travelled to Turkey, and could get some playing time against Galatasaray, who has nothing more to play for in Europe.

A defeaet in Brussels against Anderlecht condemned the Turkish side to an early exit.

Galatasaray have played five matches against English clubs in Europe, and have never lost, winning three and drawing two. They will have a decent chance at continuing that trend this evening, but the Gunners have also had some good fortune against Turkish opposition.

Excluding penalty shootouts, Arsenal have never lost a European game against a Turkish club (W6, D4) and they also managed eight clean cleansheets.

Knowing that Alexis Sanchez stayed in London, along with Laurent Koscielny, the hosts will feel much more confident of getting a result, but the Gunners are also trying to bounce back from their weekend disappointment.
