Cristiano Ronaldo said it many times in the past: it doesn’t matter whether it’s a penalty, a tap-in or a wonder strike, every goal gives him the same amount of satisfaction. For his fans, this makes absolute sense. For his haters, it doesn’t; that’s why they’ve baptized him with the name ‘Penaldo’.
A day after Ronaldo’s rival, Lionel Messi, scored from the penalty spot to offer Argentina a 2-1 victory over Croatia in a friendly match, a video of CR7 is making rounds on the internet.
The short video sees the Portugal captain in training with the rest of his national team colleagues. Ronaldo steps up, successfully converts a penalty past goalkeeper Beto. What happens next is what is making people talk.
The 29-year-old goes on to make his trademark celebration, as if it were a competitive match. Beto doesn’t seem too amused. Meanwhile Ronaldo, with a big grin on his face, continues to celebrate although the goalkeeper fails to get the joke or the fact that CR7 likes to practice his goal celebrations.

Funny or narcissistic behaviour from the reigning FIFA Ballon d’Or, UEFA Best Player and Pichichi awards winner? Opinions may be divided.
Portugal resume their UEFA Euro 2016 qualifying campaign this Friday with a match at home to Armenia. Thanks to Ronaldo’s 95th minute header against Denmark last month, the Iberian side has revived its qualification hopes in Group I.
