After two rounds of action, Milan currently lead the league but will face tougher opponents Juventus on Saturday, Sept. 20th.

After two rounds of action, not surprisingly, given their great form last season, both Scudetto winners and runners-up Juventus and Roma are among the sides leading the way with a perfect start to the season. However, the duo are not no. 1 and 2, but rather one spot further down. The reason? Milan, despite their dismal showing last term, have been seemingly revitalized ever since Filippo Inzaghi took over and are currently top of the table on goal difference.

The Rossoneri started things off with a great 3-1 comprehensive win over Lazio in their opening fixture, followed by what will certainly be one of the most entertaining clashes of this year's Serie A season as they squeaked past Parma in a nine-goal thriller.

And while their defense has looked quite suspect, their attacking verve, spearheaded by the likes of former Roma man Jeremy Menez, has more than made up for it, but nonetheless will be of great concern to Inzaghi as they prepare to take on a much tougher opponent.

As for Juventus, they, too have undergone some changes on the tactician's bench, with Antonio Conte departing to take over as the Azzurri coach and being replaced by Massimiliano Allegri. And while the former Diavolo boss wasn't received initially well by fans, he has at least, for now silenced some of his critics with a perfect start to the season in both their domestic and continental campaigns.

It will also be an interesting reunion of sorts between Inzaghi and Allegri, as the former once played under the latter during his spell with Milan. To top things off, the retired forward will also meet up with former teammate and Juventus captain Gianluigi Buffon, who had this to say regarding the retired striker's coaching approach:

"Inzaghi is a great Coach and is transmitting the same characteristics to his team that he had as a player. They engage in attacking football and have many experienced players with great quality who want to make up for last year."

And finally, for Allegri, there will be a personal impetus for the man who was sacked only this past January by Berlusconi & Co., so given this, he definitely will be keen on making his presence known upon his return to his old stomping ground.
