It certainly hasn't been the easiest summer for Loic Remy.
The French striker was pretty much on his way to Liverpool, only to fail a medical and see the Reds pull the plug on the deal, but now it looks like he will get his wish to play Champions League football after all.
Despite Arsenal reportedly trying to hijack the deal, early reports have indicated that Chelsea have brought in their third striker this summer, thus completing a complete attacking overhaul under coach Jose Mourinho.
Reports from England claim that the Blues paid £10.5 million to bring him to Stamford Bridge.

Demba Ba was sold to Turkish outfit Besiktas, Samuel Eto'o moved to Everton, and Fernando Torres will spend two years on loan with Milan. In their stead arrived Diego Costa from Atletico Madrid and legendary striker Didier Drogba for one last swansong after his contract with Galatasaray expired.
And as Mourinho has publicly stated he likes to have three striking options, Chelsea are all set now for the season in the attacking department.
After seeing his Liverpool deal come crashing down, Remy is all smiles as he's now a Chelsea player
As announced by QPR's website, he will join the 2012 UCL winners on a four year deal:
