How to watch La Liga in the United Kingdom

Fans in the United Kingdom and Ireland can watch LaLiga live from 2025-26 to 2027-28 on Premier Sports and Disney+. The combined package is reported at under £20 million per year.

Premier Sports remains the lead TV and streaming broadcaster of LaLiga, continuing a role it first took in 2019 after Eleven Sports' collapse and later resumed following Viaplay's UK exit in 2024. Viewers can watch over 340 LaLiga EA Sports matches live each season, along with selected Segunda División (LaLiga Hypermotion) games. Matches are broadcast on Sky and Virgin Media, streamed live through Prime Video Channels, and available on the Premier Sports Player across devices.

Disney+ streams one exclusive LaLiga match live each week, the Saturday primetime fixture at 8:30 pm BST. The contract runs through the 2027-28 season and is Disney+'s first live football broadcast in the UK and Ireland, building on its LaLiga partnership in the United States through ESPN.

Digital rights are also part of the agreement, as Goalhanger Productions holds a three-year license to show weekly LaLiga clips on 'The Rest is Football' podcast with Gary Lineker, published on Spotify and YouTube.

The Spanish LaLiga is live on Disney+ in the United Kingdom and Ireland through a three-season deal covering 2025-26 to 2027-28. The package delivers one live match every week, shown in the Saturday evening primetime slot at 8:30 pm.

The Disney+ LaLiga rights are limited to a single fixture per round, while Premier Sports continues to broadcast more than 300 LaLiga games each season. Matches on Disney+ are available to stream live with the platform's standard monthly or annual subscription plans, offering up to 4K UHD and HDR quality on supported devices.

Production comes via ESPN, with commentary alternating between Ian Darke and Rob Palmer, while punditry is led by Steve McManaman, joined by Stewart Robson.
